Discover the Southern Rhône Valley
Côtes du Rhône
Wines have been produced along both banks of the sun-bathed, Mistral-blown Rhône River for over 2000 years now. Côtes du Rhône wines come from an incredibly varied assortment of terroirs and microclimates, all of them offering generous, easy drinking, food-friendly wines.
Châteauneuf du Pape is the home to the greatest Grenache in the world. The three major terroirs found here are ideal for this varietal. The stone covered terroir produce ripe, intense, full bodied wines. The sandy terroirs give elegant and supple wines, while clay dominated soils offer up rich concentration.
The southernmost appellation of the Rhone valley, this unique terroir and its maritime influence produce wines with surprising depth and freshness. Old vine Grenache expresses itself beautifully on this forgotten great terroir of rolled pebbles – an appellation to discover!
